A major huge issue for today’s civilized mankind is a task of providing employment possibilities for jobless people. That is why in this essay we’ll take a look at the causes of this situation and try to find out the ways on how to improve it.
First of all, let us reminisce the main unemployment definition. This is a situation, when there is a population of people in the country, who are, being able to work, can not find appropriate job or any work at all. What’s more, it induces low savings as well as expenditures. So, the enterprises lose their sales. Therefore, the State budget receives less taxes, whereby, unemployment brings a negative effect on the whole country’s economy future.
Another big personal disadvantage for long-time unemployed people is the qualification loss.
According to the general reasons of unemployment: dramatical decline in economy, inflation, technological progress, labor competition and concurrency, government policy, force majeure, natural and human-caused disasters (likewise unexpectable war).
Overall, not being economists, we can make some prepositions about ways of working on this issue. One the one hand of solution are active and passive measures providing by government. Among them are social payments, which are being provided for temporary jobless people support. Besides, the main directions of unemployment decreasing are: taking international credits for economy support, financing of new working places creating, business stimulation, strict directions about minimal and maximal salary, number of workers, working day duration, etc. On the other side stands psychological motivation of unemployed citizens.
Thus, we can conclude, that unemployment has various aspects to take in account and questions to solve. Furthermore, it affects all the country economic condition and citizens’ satisfaction.
